Kīkahabyislandair.com, the inflight publication for Island Air. The name Kīkaha, is derived from the Hawaiian word meaning to soar or glide. It is inspired by the ‘i‘iwi bird, the icon that graces the airline’s logo and incites a desire to travel and explore within us all. As you read this issue, you will be guided to the people and places that make our islands the most unique in the world; you will be connected to the culture of Hawai‘i, provided with profound experiences; and you will be captivated, shown a place unlike the one from which you came. Like Island Air, we are proud to serve our Hawaiian Islands, and we extend the warmest aloha as we welcome you to our beautiful Hawai‘i.
